Reiki Session

Reiki means 'Universal Life Energy'. Originally developed in Japan in the 19th century, Reiki is a method of drawing concentrated life force energy and radiating it. This concentrated life force energy is a non-physical force that flows through all living things, and animates them. The Reiki healer acts as a channel through which the Reiki energy flows, providing a simple and natural method for transferring Universal life energy. The influx of Reiki energy flows within the body through pathways called Chakras and Meridians as well as creating a field of energy around us called the Aura. This life force energy nourishes the organs and the cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. Reiki works to raise the vibrations of the energy field in and around the physical body where negative thoughts and feelings are attached, causing the negative energy to break apart. In this way Reiki works to clear, straighten, heal, and balance the energy pathways allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.

Benefits of Reiki include decreased stress, anxiety, and depression; reduced pain and tension; increased vitality, mood, and energy; and enhance overall quality of life.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is an ancient therapeutic technique developed more than 2500 years ago. It incorporates gentle acupressure and assisted yogic stretching that targets deep layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia to work out knots and release chronic muscle tension. Traditionally, the client remains fully clothed and receives massage on a mat from a practitioner who uses various appendages such as hands, feet, knees, forearms, and elbows to manipulate and massage the client.

Benefits of Thai Massage include increased energy levels, reduced stress and tension, pain relief, headache relief, improved breathing, stimulated circulation, improved flexibility and range of motion, and relaxed muscles.

Integrative Session

A culmination of all the styles our practitioner has to offer! This includes Reiki, Thai Massage, Acro Yoga Therapeutic stretching and massage, and other techniques like Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Body Mobilization Technique, Active Resistance Technique, Craniosacral Therapy, and much more! Each session is tailored to the client's individual need and capabilities, and often addresses all the levels of being: Body, Mind, Emotion, and Spirit.

Acro Yoga Therapeutics (pictured right), also known as the "lunar" side of acro yoga, is the softer, therapeutic style of acro that focuses on relaxing the recipient. The practitioner supports the clients body and uses gravity to provide a deeper pressure that melts away knots and muscle tension. The body is supported in several different yogic stretches to release taut muscles and tendons otherwise resistant to traditional stretching. The practitioner provides clear and easy instructions on how the client is moved into safe and supported positions, inviting ease and relaxation during an unforgettable and unique experience!

Benefits include deep relaxation, improved flexibility and range of motion, pain relief, reduced stress, tension release, improved circulation, mood elevation, raised energy levels, improved immune function, and feelings of bliss.
